Chhattisgarh to force alcohol boycott in town with populace more than 3,000: CM Raman Singh

Raipur (Chhattisgarh): Following the strides of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh on Tuesday reported that restriction of liquor would be forced in the state.

Singh likewise said that his Government is taking measures to make the state computerized and will guarantee that around 10,000 Panchayat in the state gets legitimate Wi-Fi network till the finish of 2018.

"Each Panchayat will get a legitimate Wi-Fi network in the state. Till 2017, 2,000 Panchayats and in December 2018, 6,000 Panchayats, all together 10,000 Panchayats will get legitimate Wi-Fi network till 2018," he said.

He additionally educated the Center has affirmed around ventures worth Rs. 2,500 crore to enhance the roadways and the Highways of the state.

"Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari has affirmed ventures worth Rs. 2,500 crore, in which around 18 urban areas will show signs of improvement between state streets. Rs. 690 crore have been authorized for it," he said.
